Knowledge and Attitude Profile (WK)

WK1 A systematic, theory-based understanding of the natural sciences

applicable to the discipline and awareness of relevant social sciences.

Message from the Head of Department – Computer Engineering

Welcome to the Department of Computer Engineering at ISBM College of Engineering, Pune, affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Our department is committed to providing quality technical education that combines strong theoretical knowledge with practical exposure and industry relevance. We strive to create a learning environment that encourages innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students.

To bridge the gap between academics and industry, our department has associated four experienced industry experts who regularly interact with students and provide valuable industry insights. Experts from reputed organizations such as TCS and Wipro guide our students and help them understand real-world technologies and professional practices.

We have also initiated an in-house internship program for our students in the domains of Full Stack Development and Generative AI. These internships provide hands-on experience and help students build practical skills required by the industry. In addition, industry experts are available every Saturday to mentor and guide students on technical projects, career development, and emerging technologies.

The department has also established an AWS Cloud Club to promote cloud computing knowledge and encourage students to explore cloud technologies. Furthermore, our Computer Engineering Students Association (CESA) actively organizes various technical activities such as workshops, coding competitions, seminars, and technical events to enhance students’ technical and leadership skills.

With the support of dedicated faculty members, industry experts, and enthusiastic students, the department continuously works towards academic excellence and professional development. Our aim is to prepare students to become competent engineers, innovators, and responsible citizens who can contribute effectively to the technological advancement of society.
